1. Who we are
ChessInspect ("the Service") is operated by ChessInspect ("we", "us"), based in France. You can reach us at [email protected].
2. The service
ChessInspect fetches your recent chess.com games, analyzes them with a chess engine in your browser, and produces an AI-generated coaching report. Reports are informational and provided "as is"; we do not guarantee any particular result or improvement in your play.
3. Accounts
You must provide a valid email address and choose a password to use the Service. You are responsible for keeping your credentials secure and for activity under your account. You must be old enough to form a binding contract in your jurisdiction.
4. Credits and payments
Free accounts include a limited number of reports per week. You may also purchase report packs (priced from €1.50) and a monthly subscription processed by our payment provider, Stripe. Report credits unlock larger reports and do not expire unless stated otherwise. The Coach subscription includes 20 reports per month (counted over a rolling 30-day window). By starting a Coach subscription you expressly request immediate performance of the service; if you exercise a statutory right of withdrawal, you owe a proportionate amount for the service already supplied, as detailed in our Refund Policy. Prices may change for future purchases. Refunds are governed by our Refund Policy.
5. Acceptable use
You agree not to abuse, overload, scrape, reverse-engineer, or attempt to circumvent rate limits or access controls of the Service, and not to use it for any unlawful purpose. We may suspend or terminate accounts that violate these terms.
6. Third-party services
The Service relies on third parties including chess.com (game data), Anthropic (AI analysis), Stripe (payments), and Resend (email). Your use of the Service is also subject to their respective terms.
7. Disclaimer and liability
The Service is provided without warranties of any kind. To the maximum extent permitted by law, we are not liable for indirect or consequential damages, and our total liability is limited to the amount you paid us in the 12 months before the claim.
8. Changes and termination
We may update these terms or the Service at any time. Continued use after changes means you accept the updated terms. You may stop using the Service and request deletion of your account at any time.
9. Governing law
These terms are governed by the laws of France, and disputes are subject to the courts of France.
