1. Who we are
ChessInspect ("the Service") is operated by ChessInspect ("we", "us"), based in France. You can reach us at [email protected].
2. The service
ChessInspect fetches your recent chess.com or Lichess games, analyzes them with a chess engine in your browser, and produces an AI-generated analysis report. Reports are informational and provided "as is"; we do not guarantee any particular result or improvement in your play.
3. Using the Service
No account is required: you give us your chess platform and username, pay, and the report runs. You are responsible for the information you submit, and you must be old enough to form a binding contract in your jurisdiction. Keep the link to your report — it is how you access it afterwards.
4. Payment
One purchase (US$4.99) buys one report covering up to 200 of your recent games, or US$1.99 for a follow-up report covering up to 50. There is no subscription and nothing recurring. Payment is processed by our payment provider, Stripe, which may charge you in your local currency; the amount shown at checkout is the amount charged. By paying, you expressly request that the analysis begin immediately and acknowledge that, once the report has been generated, you lose any statutory right of withdrawal for that digital content. Prices may change for future purchases. Refunds are governed by our Refund Policy.
5. Acceptable use
You agree not to abuse, overload, scrape, reverse-engineer, or attempt to circumvent rate limits or access controls of the Service, and not to use it for any unlawful purpose. We may suspend or terminate accounts that violate these terms.
6. Third-party services
The Service relies on third parties including chess.com and Lichess (game data), OpenRouter (AI analysis), Stripe (payments), and Resend (email). Your use of the Service is also subject to their respective terms.
7. Disclaimer and liability
The Service is provided without warranties of any kind. To the maximum extent permitted by law, we are not liable for indirect or consequential damages, and our total liability is limited to the amount you paid us in the 12 months before the claim.
8. Changes and termination
We may update these terms or the Service at any time. Continued use after changes means you accept the updated terms. You may stop using the Service at any time, and you can ask us to delete your report and the data behind it by writing to [email protected].
9. Governing law
These terms are governed by the laws of France, and disputes are subject to the courts of France.
